In a few hours I will be going to STJOG for an hour long education session where the nurses will guide me through the do's and dont's of chemo, thereafter I will meet with the doctor and then go through for my first session of chemo. Although I am apprehensive I am rearing to go and ready to start this process.
When the oncologist realised that this chemo session is two days before my birthday she asked if I would prefer to start next week and I told her that the sooner I could start the sooner I would finish. I am ready to begin this arduous process.
Thank you to each and everyone for their wonderful messages, cards, phone calls and emails. I have read every one of them and have drawn on them for my strength and sanity. I am sorry if I don't get a chance to reply to you personally - but I do thank you all from the bottom of my heart for the kind words.
